The act of deceiving or playing someone in a non-harmful, teasing way, generally to cause amusement. Usually preceded by some form of light sarcasm or untruthful phrase.
"Hey man, your mom said that if you don't let me eat your pizza she's going to take away your car for 9 weeks."
"SERIOUSLY?"
"Nah, I'm just kodding."

Krista: "You have a pop quiz tomorrow on every element in the Periodic Table, and I'm not kodding."
